The printer is so cool that its annoying. Do you know why? Cos you will be angry that the ink is not going down in spite of the volume of printing (Don’t take my word for it, give it a try).

If you have seen my write-up on the IP 7240 CD Printer  you will know that I don’t write about printers except I have used them (it) myself. So you may be wondering which one I have used, the G1400! That’s because I have a separate scanning machine and copier. It has given me value for my money and allowed my IP 7240 ID Card Printer to focus on its core job – CD and ID Card Printing.

For those of you who have tried installing CISS on several occasions, this is a welcome relief (and I must praise Canon for rising to the occasion and giving its customers what they have been yearning for for years), not only did they do it, they made a child’s play of  the manual installation method because this one is so beautifully factory fitted. It also come with inks with funnel mouth to minimize spillage.

Another very important advantage this printer has is that it can print any type of paper, both hard and soft mainly because it takes paper from the upper side. Those using IP7240 to print hard paper would know what I’m talking about.
